Why do the Mikkeller Single Hop beers have separate listings from the Mikkeller Hop Series beers?
The differences as near as I can tell --
6.9% vs 6.8% ABV
The recipes in the previous series were designed to yield equivalent IBUs across the beers in the series, while the recipes in the current series use the same amount of hops in each beer.
Seems like a pretty narrow difference as the basis to create separate listings for the beers that use the same hop varietals (Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus/Tomahawk, Nugget, Simcoe, Warrior). Especially when in many other circumstances far greater differences end up aliased.

I’m sure this has come up plenty of times in the forums so maybe someone could send me in the right direction. Off to taste the "Stone Double Dry Hopped Ruination" today and noticed that it’s not listed but the "Triple Dry Hopped Ruination" is listed as an alias to the original "Ruination."
The explantion posted for an alias is that the beer changes name but not the recipe. To me double dry hopped and triple dry hopped special releases are a change in recipe.
